HIPAA - The Basics

The CHHS HIPAA Committee has reviewed the impact of the Privacy Regulation on our policies and procedures. They have created and frequently update our Policies and Procedures (P&Ps) to ensure we remain compliant with all HIPAA requirements.

Your responsibility is to be aware of the P&Ps by:

		Reviewing the list of new and changing P&Ps listed in your handbook.
		Accessing the CHHS intranet to review any P&Ps that apply to your job.
